Social data your
code can work with.

Build agents, discover creators, and track public content with timestamped YouTube transcripts, Instagram profiles and posts, TikTok data, and Instagram and Facebook comments.

Structured JSON through REST. The same data as MCP tools for your agent.

Selected fields returned from Instagram’s public profile on 11 Oct 2026. Counts change over time; optional identity fields are omitted. This is a data example, not an endorsement.

Start with a public link

Paste a YouTube video URL to inspect a live transcript preview. No signup or API key required.

Up to 5 segments and 1,000 text characters. 10 previews per public IP address per hour, shared by people on the same Wi-Fi or VPN. Live retrieval is limited to 20 attempts per UTC day across all visitors; cached previews do not use that daily pool. Results may be cached for 15 minutes. Captions must be available.

Your transcript preview will appear here.Try a public video with captions available.

From public content to something useful

Context for LLMs and agents

Turn YouTube transcripts into searchable knowledge, cited answers, or your own summarization workflow.

Creator discovery

Compare public Instagram profiles, posts, and reels when researching creators for a brand or campaign.

Competitor and trend monitoring

Schedule public profile reads and TikTok searches in your app, then compare results over time.

Research datasets

Collect structured public data for analysis. Preserve source links and respect the rights and permissions for your use.

SnipBob retrieves the data. Scheduling, analysis, and AI generation run in your own tools.

From early beta users

“Having transcripts and social data behind one API makes it easier to prototype ideas. I can focus on what I’m building instead of writing a separate integration for each platform.”

Akshat JainEarly beta user · Developer

“I’m more interested in creating than dealing with technical setup. SnipBob gives me a useful starting point for researching videos and turning their transcripts into notes and content ideas.”

Saudamini JenaEarly beta user · Digital artist

Give your agent access to public social data

Ask it to read a video transcript, compare creator profiles, or find TikTok videos. SnipBob exposes the same operations as MCP tools, using the same project key and credits as REST.

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Replace YOUR_KEY with your project key and enable SnipBob in MCP settings.

  "mcpServers": {
    "fetchfox": {
      "url": "https://mcp.fetchfox.net/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}

You need a SnipBob project key first. Keep it in personal configuration, outside shared repositories. REST uses x-access-key; MCP uses Authorization: Bearer with that same key. For Claude web or Desktop, follow the remote-connector guide below.

Know what to expect

Public data, with clear boundaries

Available fields depend on the source platform. A successful response is a snapshot; cached responses may be reused. Check platform terms, content rights, and privacy requirements for your use.

Terms and acceptable use

Failures and limits are visible

Failed processing uses no credits. Rate limits and request charges are returned in response headers. Source platforms can restrict access or change their formats; there is no published uptime or latency SLA.
